Township Students

For the first time in December 2008, the end of the South African school year, a group of 16 pupils in the final year of primary education from 4 Township primary schools were taken on a two day safari to an educational camp in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park.  This was a reward for pupils efforts and achievement during the past year.  For most this was despite extreme difficulties.

The visit in addition to being a reward gave these pupils the unique opportunity to learn about South African wildlife - their heritage.

It is hoped that funding will be found to enable such visits to continue. If you would like to help with these visits, please either donate or contact us.
