Hillcrest Aids Projects
Hillcrest runs several projects to help support the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust in South Africa and to provide a unique opportunity for 6th Formers.
We also visit UK secondary schools to explain to students the work of the charity in South Africa and the issues surrounding AIDS/HIV.

School Fee ProjectRaising money to pay the school fees and school uniforms for AIDS orphans | Township Pupils VisitThis provides an opportunity for pupils from four township primary schools in South Africa to visit the game reserve outside Durban as a reward for academic effort and achievement. |
6th Form VisitProvides ordinary students with an opportunity that they can afford to experience the reality of poverty and the impact of AIDS/HIV in South Africa and make a contribution to the needs of the people they work with. | Year 11 VisitNew in 2009 an opportunity for UK sports leaders to visit township schools to work with pupils developing their sports skills and providing teachers in the schools with an opportunity to learn about specific sports skills. |
Feeding & Horticulture Project Funding is being sought to provide food for Aids Orphans at weekends and Holidays and to establish a horticultural project for sustainable long term provision. |
