Monday 17th July saw the beginning of the 2017 Valley Project at Laboure Primary School in the KwaNgolosi Valley. 28 students (aged 17) from Hillcrest High and Kloof High schools, along with 2 teachers have been working for 5 days to clean and paint a total of eight classrooms. They work from 8.00am to 2.45pm with just two half hour breaks.
During the second week half of the students, from one school, will teach for 3 days, followed by the students from the other school, who will then teach for 3 days. All the money for the materials and equipment has been raised by the students.
Help us to keep this and other projects going, please donate here. Every single penny goes where it is needed and every penny goes a long way.
We are a registered UK charity raising funds to support children impacted by HIV and AIDS and rural township schools. All money raised goes directly to the projects.
