HACT South Africa

The Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust South Africa (HACT SA) was founded in 1990 by the Hillcrest Methodist Church in response to the pending HIV and AIDS pandemic.

HACT’s mission is to provide unconditional love and hope to all those impacted by HIV and AIDS. Since it was founded it has become a model of holistic HIV and AIDS care and its projects include: HIV counselling and testing, home based care, respite/palliative care, HIV prevention, family strengthening, community outreach and economic empowerment and a school fee fund. All projects coordinate with each other forming a holistic model of care.
