Secondary Education Support

Back in 2016 we began to support an able student to attend a secondary school in the local town. At the same time a second student was funded by Lionsraw. Although the school was not charging any fees, we had to find the costs (listed below) of school uniforms, materials and equipment and transport to and from the school.

Monthly Transport Cost                              £59

Materials & Equipment annually              £250

School Uniform                                            £170

Sports Equipment                                        £50

Both these students went on to university. We supported them with their applications and provided them with laptops. They are doing brilliantly!

In 2017 we enabled two more students to attend the same secondary school by covering the costs of materials and equipment. The school provided a free place for both girls, and their parents were able to cover the remaining costs.

Since then, we have supported and are continuing to support several gifted students through their secondary education and onto university. Although the school gives a huge bursary to each student, sometimes there is a shortfall that we need to cover.

To help us to keep these sponsorships going, please donate now. Every single penny goes where it is needed, and every penny goes a long way.

It has pushed me towards always wanting to help those who do not have as much as they deserve to have.
