Charity Overview

new shoes2The Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust UK is a registered charity in the UK (charity number 1104928). All trustees and helpers are volunteers from the professional sector. We fundraise to support the education of children impacted by HIV and AIDS in South Africa.

We run a number of varied projects, many of which have evolved over the years to meet the needs of the community we support. These have ranged from; paying for school uniforms and books to secondary school fees; involving 6th form students (first from the UK and now SA) in renovating primary school classrooms and teaching; teacher training; and helping to build new schools.

We have also provided education on HIV and AIDS for pupils in schools in the UK.

Our charity is linked to the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust SA (HACT SA) – a registered Non-Profit organisation based in South Africa.
