A big thank you to the Great Yarmouth SI (Soroptimist International) club who raised £45 (nearly R1000) towards Neliswa’s education costs. The initiative “45 for 45” was set up by the Kings Lynn Soroptimists SIGBI to celebrate their 45th Charter Anniversary to which all SI clubs were invited to take part in the challenge, which took place during July.

Neliswa is one of the gifted learners in the rural Valley of 1000 Hills, South Africa, who we are sponsoring through secondary school, raising funds to pay for her travel costs to and from school, books, and school uniform.
Members of the Soroptimist International Club in the UK are long standing supporters of our learner sponsorship initiatives, raising hundreds of £’s each year. Last year they raised a total of £450 (nearly R10,000) towards Neliswa’s education costs!
Great Yarmouth Soroptimist Club sent us this message: “Well done for keeping this going for Neliswa – it is great to see our fundraising going to such a great cause and maybe she’ll fly the flag for Soroptimists one day!”
