Following the School Leadership Forum hosted by Partners for Possibility in July, Margaret has started making arrangements to visit different schools. The Principals of these schools have asked her to deliver her training on Differentiation in the Classroom to all their teachers as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Margaret ran the first of these CPD workshops at Bhekilanga Primary School in Kwamashu before she left South Africa this visit. More training will take place on her return in October.

All her training has been really well received. Here are some of the feedback comments from workshop participants;
“It was an eye-opener on how to make my lessons more interesting for less able learners … I will definitely apply the methods suggested.”
“Absolutely informative – loved the atmosphere. Margaret is awesome!”
“We need more of these workshops to help us deal with the difficulties we experience in our working environment.”
Raising teaching standards and empowering teachers through skills training is vital for change. Ensuring each child is able to reach their potential requires particular teaching skills and a lot of patience, especially in a country and region where specialised skills training opportunities like these are few and far between.
Margaret’s teacher training sessions provide insight and practical solutions for all staff, with the potential to have a huge impact on township schools. Our ability to offer this and other training, free to schools in the Valley of 1000 Hills relies on your donations. To join us in helping children have the best start in life please donate here.
We are a registered UK charity raising funds to support children impacted by HIV and AIDS and rural township schools. All money raised goes directly to the projects.
