Well done Kwanele!

September 22, 2021

Huge congratulations to Kwanele who has been awarded a 2022 HHS Trust Scholarship which will support his school fees for 2022!

Kwanele has received multiple academic accolades throughout his schooling career so far, including certificates for Mathematics, English and Zulu Olympiads and he achieved 6 A’s for his first term of Grade 10. Kwanele also excels in football and won the Under 15 Youth Soccer Tournament in June 2021, and he captains the Hlonipha Football Club which he believes has given him valuable leadership skills. Kwanele has big dreams of becoming a chemical engineer while also becoming a professional footballer. Go Kwanele!

The scholarship is fantastic news, and we are also extremely grateful to one of our supporters who has stepped forward to fund other costs of schoolbooks, uniform, transport and other learning materials for the same period. In order for Kwanele to continue his brilliant educational journey, it is essential to cover future learning costs like these and ensure sustainable funding until the end of his high school. To this end, we are always looking for regular monthly sponsors to help us achieve this – please contact us if you are keen to assist. Or if you wish to make a one-off donation please donate here, that is wonderful too! Thank you.
