Looking back over the past year, one of our highlights was seeing more classrooms starting to be built at OBED Technical School in Inchanga. The latest building work began in November and as you can see from the pictures, swift progress is being made.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the major donors of these most recent classrooms – Terry and Reney Patterson – whose generous funding has made it all possible.
Let us tell you some of Terry and Renay’s story…
Terry and Renay are both originally from different towns in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. They began their careers in Mtubatuba —Terry as a radio repair technician and Renay as a system administrator.
Their aspirations led them to pursue further education outside of working hours and their journey took them from KwaZulu-Natal to Johannesburg, then to Abu Dhabi, and finally to London, driven by their academic achievements. They completed their bachelor’s degrees through the University of South Africa (UNISA) and in January 2014, they founded Enable Network Services, which has grown to 11 full-time employees.
The Pattersons believe their success comes from a good education, “We never forgot where we came from and how it was education that got us to where we are today!” And this has motivated them to strongly support our projects in their pursuit of accessible education for all.
Thank you, Renay and Terry!
And a huge thank you also to all our other supporters, sponsors and donors, we could not do the work we do without you!
Wishing you all a Happy and Peaceful New Year!
