Our Valley project has just wrapped up another amazing week (July 14-18) at a large rural primary school in the Valley of a 1000 Hills in South Africa. Now in its second year of giving St Leo Primary School a makeover, the project saw 30 dedicated high school students cleaning, painting and decorating the remaining classrooms.
But this project is so much more than just paint – it’s about inclusion and learning everyone’s equal value! As well as giving bright new spaces to inspire both children and teachers in classrooms with high student numbers, the project provides a huge learning experience for the high school students, highlighting resource differences and fostering understanding across diverse backgrounds.
We’re so proud of everyone involved. We extend a huge thank you to the awesome students from Kloof High School and Hillcrest High School, KZN, South Africa, who raised vital funds and carried out the hard work. We also thank the schools for all their efforts to ensure everything was in place to make this amazing project happen. Thank you all!
