Celebrating hard work and success

August 23, 2017

On August 9th South Africa celebrated Women’s Day. On that day, to celebrate all their hard work this year, the two girls being funded through their secondary education, Lebo (sponsored by us) and Nompilo (sponsored by Lionsraw SA), were treated to a fabulous day out. Margaret Turnbull and Ruth Duma (from Lionsraw SA) joined the girls for a fun filled day in and around Durban.

They started at Suncoast on Durban’s beach front where they went to the cinema. This was followed by a trip to Moses Mabhida Stadium which was built for the 2010 football world cup. They then went to the funfair on the beach front where they went on some rides and finally to Usharka to have a lovely meal and enjoy the area.

The girls had a really wonderful day out and they really did deserve it. They have worked so hard and have made us incredibly proud.

To help us to keep these sponsorships and our other projects going, please donate now. Every single penny goes where it is needed and every penny goes a long way.
