In 2016 the first group of twenty four students from two South African schools worked in Mnamatha Primary school in rural township in KwaZulu Natal. The first week was during the school holidays when they prepared, washed down and painted 7 classrooms. During the second week when the new term had begun the students taught the year 6 and 7 pupils. They taught English; mathematics; science; creative arts, following the South African curriculum. This film provides a snapshot of their work during the two weeks, the fun they had and the farewell given to the group by the school.
We are a registered UK charity raising funds to support children impacted by HIV and AIDS and rural township schools. All money raised goes directly to the projects.
