We are so thrilled to share some excellent progress on the new sports field at Obed Mlaba Technical School in South Africa. This has been possible with the amazing generosity of everyone who supported our fundraiser back in November 2024!
Despite some challenges with heavy rain, which meant we had to re-level the ground and install new drainage, we’re now moving full steam ahead. The handmade football posts, crafted locally in the community, have been installed!
This project is about so much more than just a sports field, it’s about creating a safe, secure space for the school’s students to play, grow, and build confidence. By giving them quality equipment, we’re helping them reach their full potential and promoting active lifestyles.
What’s next? Netball posts are going in soon, and then we’ll install a gate to keep livestock out of the school.
