Another action-packed adventure!

December 2, 2024

We’re thrilled to share that another successful camp has come to an end!

13 amazing grade 7 primary school pupils from 4 different schools had the time of their lives at the breathtaking Spirit of Adventure base camp in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The camp was a reward for the pupils’ efforts and achievements in their final year at primary school and for many of these well-deserved students, it was their first time away from home.

They were brilliant and faced the challenges head-on. From building rafts to kayaking and abseiling, the children learned valuable life skills like teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence. New friendships were made, and everyone had fun!

Pemla Mtshali, camp co-ordinator and Education Manager at the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust South Africa said, “The Spirit of Adventure camp 2024 went very well. The kids participated in all the activities. The parents wrote to me with so much gratitude. Here is what they said:
“The kids were treated very well.”
“We can’t thank you enough, Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trusts UK & SA.””

We’re so proud of each and every one of them!

For many of the pupils, this camp is a once in a lifetime opportunity – a dream. Without your support, these camps would not be able to take place. To help keep this dream alive, please donate here.
