Introducing our dedicated trustees…meet Rebekka

May 24, 2021

My name is Rebekka Stredwick and I have been a trustee of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust UK since 2018.

What I love about the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust in both the UK and South Africa, is that they are small, locally led organisations with big hearts and clear vision, enabling vulnerable adults and children to realise their hopes and dreams and live healthy lives. I was able to experience this first-hand through a short stint of volunteering in South Africa in 2014 and my life was never to be the same again…

To find out more about Rebekka and her work with our charity, read her full story here, Rebekka Stredwick – storytelling, volunteering and a life changed forever!

I really enjoyed working at the school with the children. All of the hard work we put in paid-off when we got to see the look on those kids faces in their new classroom.
