Teacher training planned for 2022

December 16, 2021

During her latest visit to South Africa, Margaret Turnbull was introduced to Phephile Primary School in KwaDabeka by Yvonne Johnstone, a retired primary school principal from Durban. She and Margaret have worked together several times through Partners for Possibility.

At the first meeting at the school, before talking to the whole staff team about the forthcoming training, Margaret met with senior staff including the principal, Happy Gabela and two of the school governors. Their training will focus on Positive Behaviour Management in the classroom.

While in South Africa, Margaret also met with staff from Mariannridge Senior Secondary School and Mariannridge Primary School where she introduced the system of Positive Behaviour Management. The teacher training with these new schools is due to begin in April and May 2022.

To help us enrich children’s learning by keeping essential teacher training going, please donate here. Every single penny donated goes a very long way and goes where it is needed. Thank you.
